• A four-layer combined glove with a membrane.
• The basic and carrier layer of the back of the glove is a textile material Nomex®. The palm is made of specially treated cowhide split leather resistant against heat, water and abrasion which ensures maximum sensitivity and comfort for work. There is also Kevlar® reinforcement for additional protection in the most stressed parts used in the palm and back of the glove.
• Technical Kevlar® and Nomex® put together make the other two layers that increase heat, abrasion and cutting resistance.
• The glove contains a special membrane that does not let through liquids, blood, bacteria and chemicals.
• With such material composition Sydney is designed to be used in the most demanding setting.
• Sydney is made with a long Nomex® wristband and FR Velcro® adjustable wrist closure.
• The gloves are tested and certified in accordance with EN 659:2003 standard - Protecting gloves for firefighters.
